Denne vasen er laget av en almeknute jeg kjøpte i Danmark på ferietur i 2010,
overflatebehandlet med silkematt lakk på yttersiden og olje på innsiden.
Innsiden er noe grovere enn yttersiden og er behandlet med olje.
This vessel is made from an elmburl that I bought in
Denmark in 2010, it is coated with lacquer on the outside, the inside is not as
smooth sanded so it has only gotten a couple of coats of oil
Size is 25 X 16 cm

This bowl is made from a piece of a maple that has grown in Nashville on the property of John and Vicki Jordan.
Vicki wanted to keep the memories of the tree and decided to send bits to woodturners all over the
world and I was so lucky that I got to participate in this project.

Ash bowl treated with steel wool and vineagar inside and the outside except the coloured area is burned with the Razortip. It is used Chestnut spirit stain with different colors to highlight the growth rings.
